Who’s Who: Cast Bios

ABBIE CHEN, (Ensemble, Dance Team) was recently in Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. and Summer Performance Intensive at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. She is grateful to her mom and dad for supporting her and taking the time to drive her, and her KIDSTAGE instructors for helping her grow and hone her craft. She loves to sing and dance in her free time and posts little dances @abbiezchen on Instagram and YouTube! Xoxo

AZARIA BUEHRER, she/her (Cady Heron) is thrilled to be a part of this production! Past Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE shows include: Fiddler on the Roof, The SpongeBob Musical, and Into the Woods JR. Other favorite performances are Disney’s Newsies JR. and The Addams Family Young@Part. CHARLIE NEWTON, she/her (Ensemble) is so excited to be in her second show at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! She had an amazing time being in Ensemble in KIDSTAGE Originals The Lonesome Writer. She just finished playing the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland and hopes you have a fetch time at Mean Girls!

CONNOR LAMPMAN, he/him (Ensemble) is beyond thrilled to join the cast of Mean Girls at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE this winter. He has been performing for 12 years and some of his favorite roles include: Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Amos Calloway in Big Fish, and John Brooke and Braxton in Little Women (Broadway Bound). Thank you to his family and friends for always supporting him, and the cast and crew for their hard work.

DELANEY MOSLEY, she/her (Ensemble, Dance Team) is thrilled to return to Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE to perform in one of her favorite shows! Coming back to KIDSTAGE this year is especially special, as this stage is where Delaney spent her younger days performing. Some recent credits include: Billy Flynn in Chicago, SpongeBob in The SpongeBob Musical, and Cady in Mean Girls. Delaney thanks her instructors and parents for their support and for pushing her as a performer and person.

ELI SNOW, he/him (Ensemble) is super excited to be a part of Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE production of Mean Girls this fall. Through his experience in this year's Summer Independent production of Fiddler on the Roof and his school's spring musical Anything Goes, Eli has developed a passion for acting, and the community that comes with it.

GABI GONZALEZ, (Ensemble) is so thrilled to have the opportunity to be in this production of Mean Girls. She has been in various works such as The SpongeBob Musical as well as Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. and others. They would also like to shout out their grandpa James Billington for helping support them in their theatrical journey.

GISELLE KENDRICK, she/they (Aaron Samuels) is overjoyed to be in her fifth production with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE! At KIDSTAGE, she most recently was Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof. Other KIDSTAGE productions include: KIDSTAGE Originals A Pirate's Pact, Holiday Cabaret, and The Prom. Giselle is in her third year of Village Theatre Institute! INARA SHELDON, she/her (Mrs. George) thinks you look so fetch tonight! Inara has performed in numerous shows at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE, including While They Last and Fiddler on the Roof, and most proudly was a writer/librettist for A Pirate's Pact and The Lonesome Writer (KIDSTAGE, Seattle Rep Youthfest). She is also the recipient of the 2024 Gregory Award for Outstanding Youth Theatre Advocate. She’s excited to share this tale of teenage girlhood with you and hopes you enjoy the show!

JADA HARRISON, she/her (Ensemble, Dance Team) is excited to make her appearance in this incredible show. She has always enjoyed musicals, and finally took her passion to the stage last year in her high school production of Mean Girls, followed by Fiddler on the Roof at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. When not onstage, Jada enjoys quality time with friends and family, weightlifting, and teaching. Jada looks forward to new creative adventures and contribution to this community.

KARLY BUNCH, she/her (Ensemble) is psyched to be a part of her first production at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. This is Karly’s second appearance on stage since elementary school, her first as an Ancestor in her high school’s production of The Addams Family. Karly loves to sing and has always had a passion for musical theatre. She is forever grateful for her family and friends, who continue to support her unconditionally throughout all her endeavors.

KING BONEY, he/him (Janis Ian) is an actor that’s never been in any productions with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE before, but has had many in his school life. He started his theatre journey in middle school, and has been doing shows with various different theatre companies and his schools ever since. Usually cast in comedic-only roles, King is excited to take up the comedic but emotionally rich Janis in KIDSTAGE Mean Girls!

KYLAH PALMER, she/her (Ensemble, Dance Team) was most recently involved in Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE inaugural Summer Performance Intensive as a dance captain, and she is a current Village Theatre Institute student. This is her first official KIDSTAGE production, and she couldn’t be more stoked! Previously, Kylah has also been the dance captain in her high school’s productions of Disney’s Newsies, Chicago, and The Addams Family. She currently choreographs for Spotlight Repertory NW youth programs. Special thanks to her closest friends and family!

LEO HOLMSTROM, (Featured Ensemble, Dance Captain) is so excited to be back performing with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE after While They Last (2023). Previous roles include Elmer in Disney’s Newsies, Molly in 13 the Musical, Enid/Dewey in Legally Blonde, George Banks in Mary Poppins, and many more. Leo also frequently works on creative teams and is currently directing Rock in Rock Paper Scissors at her high school. Leo would like to thank KIDSTAGE for giving them this opportunity and their voice teacher Danielle Rodgers for always supporting her.

LIZ CONLON, she/her (Regina George) is thrilled to be involved in another Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show! She just recently played Paulette in KIDSTAGE Everett's Summerstock production of Legally Blonde. She was also involved in the Rising Star Project at The 5th Avenue Theatre this last spring. Liz would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and give a huge thanks to the entire team for making this production possible. Enjoy the show!

LUKE JEFFRIES, he/him (Mr. Duvall) has enjoyed acting since he was little and has been fortunate to be part of many productions including Shrek, Annie, Disney’s Frozen, Disney’s Aladdin, High School Musical 2, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Mary Poppins, Radium Girls, and The Addams Family. This is Luke's first production with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE, and he is so excited to have been cast as Mr. Duvall. Luke is very grateful for this opportunity, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

MADELINE CASHMAN, she/her (Gretchen Wieners) is thrilled to fulfill this role! Her past credits include Holiday Cabaret (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE); Nunzio/Snyder/Bowery Beauty in Disney’s Newsies, Rhonda in Almost, Maine, Roxie in Chicago, Olive in The Women of Lockerbie, Wednesday in The Addams Family, and Jo in Little Women at her high school. MALCOLM DOTY, he/him (Damian Hubbard) is so excited to be returning to Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE spotlight! Previous credits at KIDSTAGE include: Gill in Disney’s Finding Nemo JR., Ensemble and u/s Barry in The Prom, and Mal in The Addams Family Young@Part. When he is not on the stage, Malcolm loves to draw and read a good book. This is a dream role of his and he thanks his mom and dad and brother for their support!

MARIA KNAUSS, she/her (Ensemble, Dance Team) is thrilled to be in her fifth production with Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE! Having most recently performed as the cover of Hope Langdon in Something's Afoot (The 5th Avenue TheatreRising Star Project), she is so excited to be doing another amazing show with such a talented company. TRISTAN CALKINS, he/him (Kevin G) is hyped to be a part of Mean Girls! The last time he did a Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show was KIDSTAGE Originals While They Last. Over the summer, Tristan co-choreographed a production of Mean Girls at Studio East, specifically “Whose House is This” (and more), so Tristan dedicates his performance to Neev Popil and Neil Cardoso, the Kevin G’s from Studio East’s production. He also thanks his parents for their support.

JASMINE JOSHUA, they/them (Director) has directed Murder of Roger Ackroyd (Book-It Repertory Theatre); Mystery of Irma Vep (Intiman Theatre); Anyone Can Whistle, Cabaret (Reboot Theatre Company); Cafe Nordo; associate directed Ken Ludwig's Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood and XY (Village Theatre) and assistant directed Bliss (The 5th Avenue Theatre). Onstage: The 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Public Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Intiman Theatre. Upcoming: directing Gold (Annex Theatre), and premiering their nonbinary musical Here and Their (12th Avenue Arts) in June 2025.

RICO LASTRAPES, he/him (Music Director, Conductor) is a Seattle-based creative who received his BFA in acting from the University of Central Florida. Other Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE credits include Director forDisney's Finding Nemo JR., Choreographer and Assistant Director for Disney's Newsies, Choreographer for The Prom, and Music Mentor for KIDSTAGE Originals (2021-2024). He is the Program Manager for VIllage Theatre Institute in Issaquah. MEGAN FELISE, (Choreographer) is a performer, teaching artist, and choreographer based in Seattle, WA. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Megan has taught for Seattle Children’s Theatre, Seattle Theatre Group, and was a “Choreographer Mentor” for The 5th Avenue Theatre’s Rising Star Production of Something’s Afoot. Megan has performed with ZTHEORY Heels Dance, Verlaine and McCann, and Flying Choreography as the Ariel Double/Ensemble for Disney’s The Little Mermaid (The 5th Avenue Theatre).

BELLA RIVERA, they/them (Scenic Designer) is a Chicanx designer and artisan who is excited to design for Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE again! Past KIDSTAGE work includes scenic design for Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. and props design for The Addams Family Young@Part. Past projects include work with Seattle Public Theatre, ArtsWest, Taproot Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Washington Ensemble Theatre, Annex Theatre, Whidbey Island Shakespeare Festival, and Cornish College of the Arts. KRISTA LOFGREN, she/her (Costume Designer) is excited to work with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE for the first time. This is her second season of costuming. Her work was recently seen in Sister Act (Tacoma Musical Playhouse) and The Prom (Auburn Community Players). Past favorites include Ride the Cyclone (Second Story Repertory), Stepping Out (Tacoma Musical Playhouse), and Anyone Can Whistle (Reboot Theatre Company). She has a background in fashion and owns a vintage clothing business with an expertise in restoration.

CHRISTINA BARRIGAN, she/her/ella (Lighting Designer) joyfully joins Mean Girls as lighting designer. Her previous work at Village Theatre includes Welcome Home: A Holiday Concert. Other work includes new works such as: Pickleball, Prince of Lightning, Insertion, and Byhalia, MS (B Street Theatre); La Egoista (The Actors’ Theatre of Louisville); What the Constitution Means to Me, Cabaret, This Flat Earth, and Blackbird (Harlequin Productions). She is also a resident artist-educator at Central Washington University.

EVAN MOSHER, he/him (Sound Designer) is pleased to be back with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE after sound designing Legally Blonde last summer. His work has also been heard at Seattle Public Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, ArtsWest, Book-it Repertory, in residencies at Whitman College, and at Cafe Nordo where he sound designed nearly every show at their Pioneer Square venue (2015-2022). He is also a member of the artpop band “Awesome” with whom he has made melodic noise and peculiar performance for 20 years.

JACK JESSAMYN BATEMAN-IINO, they/them (Properties Coordinator) is a Seattle-area prop designer and stage manager. Past favorite shows include: Damn Yankees (Reboot Theatre) and The Last World Octopus Wrestling Champion (ArtsWest). Props work can be seen at JessamynProps.com. MICHAEL LATHAM, he/him (Stage Manager). This is Michael's first time working with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and is excited to be part of this production. SIERRA TINHOF, she/her (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be working with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE for the first time. Recent run crew and stage management team credits include: Cost of Living (Sound Theatre Company), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Vashon Repertory Theatre), and numerous projects with Open Space for Arts and Community on Vashon Island. Sierra is a graduate of Central Washington University (BFA in theatre performance) and University of Washington (Masters in Teaching).

TINA FEY, (Book) is a writer, actor, and producer known for her award-winning series 30 Rock and for nine seasons on Saturday Night Live (Weekend Update, Sarah Palin, Mom Jeans.) Films: Sisters, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Date Night, Mean Girls (her first screenplay). In 2010 she became the youngest recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Her book “Bossypants” has sold 2.5 million copies. She co-created Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix) and was an Executive Producer on Great News (NBC). She is thrilled to make her Broadway debut as a writer and not as a dancer in Cats as previously stress-dreamt. She lives in NYC with her husband Jeff Richmond and their two fancy daughters. She dedicates her work here to her mom Jeanne, for loving and feeding the many teenage loudmouths that went on to be characters in this show. 

JEFF RICHMOND, (Music) is an award-winning composer, songwriter and producer for television, theatre and film. He served as composer and an Executive Producer on NBC’s 30 Rock, winning three Primetime Emmy Awards alongside his wife Tina Fey. He was a musical director at The Second City in Chicago and at Saturday Night Live, where he spent five seasons composing original songs for stars like Jack Black, Queen Latifah, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Jeff’s New York theatre credits include his musical Melancholy Baby, the inaugural production of the Ars Nova Theater, and the score for Fully Committed on Broadway starring Jesse Tyler Ferguson. He is currently executive producing, directing and scoring episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in New York City, where he lives with his wife and their two daughters.

NELL BENJAMIN, (Lyrics) co-wrote the score to Legally Blonde, the Musical with composer Laurence O'Keefe, which received Tony Award nominations, Drama Desk nominations, and the Olivier and Helpmann Awards for Best Musical. Nell wrote the lyrics to Mean Girls, which received multiple Tony Award nominations, including for Best Original Score and Best Musical. Nell's play, The Explorers Club, won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Play, the Edgerton Foundation New American Plays Award, and an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation grant. Nell has written book and/or lyrics for Pirates! Village Theatre's Technical Theatre Program

Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Technical Theatre Program (TTP) provides hands-on experimental learning mentored by professionals in a wide variety of theatre disciplines. TTP opportunities allow students to learn theatre industry vocational skills such as direction, design, technical theatre, and management. Special thanks to our TTP students who worked beside our professionals.

About the Winter Productions

Our KIDSTAGE Winter Production is geared toward more experienced performers, with an age range dependent on the show or project selected. The intensive rehearsal process may include character development, learning choreography and staging, and strengthening the vocal instrument. The emphasis is on the performer.
