Cal Performances expands 2024/25 season with exclusive election event and an encore concert

Cal Performances has announced the addition of two exciting events to its season lineup. The first is a special engagement in partnership with the Goldman School of Public Policy, focused on the 2024 election. Featuring insights from experts who have served in former presidential administrations, this event will provide a deep dive into the political landscape, offering valuable perspectives on the upcoming election.

The second addition is a newly scheduled Saturday evening performance of the Takács Quartet with pianist Jeremy Denk. After the Sunday matinee became the season’s first sellout, this extra performance gives audiences another opportunity to experience the renowned quartet’s collaboration with Denk. Both the Takács Quartet and Denk are longtime favorites of Berkeley audiences, making this a highly anticipated event.
