Who’s Who: Cast Bios

ADELAIDE LARAMY, they/them (Emmett Forrest) did their first SummerStock production seven years ago and have participated in Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE summer programs ever since. Their favorite credits include: Gaston in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Little Sally in Urinetown, and Summer in School of Rock. Their favorite thing about KIDSTAGE is the challenging pro­fessional environment.

ADRIAN ENGLEHART, they/them (Court Stenographer, Ensemble) is an energetic actor honing their craft. Recent roles include Sheldon J. Plankton in The SpongeBob Musical Youth Edition, Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde JR., and Nigel in Matilda JR. in drama club productions.

ALEXANDER HERNANDEZ, he/him (Kyle the UPS Guy, Ensemble, Vocal Captain, u/s Emmett) is excited to be in his third Summer­Stock production at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. His favorite roles from KID­STAGE include Sky Master­son in Guys and Dolls, Scab/Newsie in Disney’s Newsies, and Cooper in Krisis Kids Wilderness Adventure Camp. He plans to continue learn­ing and growing as an actor with KIDSTAGE to prepare him for college. Alexander is thankful to all those who have supported him on this journey.

ALVIN SMITH, he/him (Bailiff, Ensemble) is excited to join the Ensemble for Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production of Legally Blonde. Previously, he has performed as an Ensemble member in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and in Guys and Dolls. Outside of acting, Alvin enjoys play­ing the guitar, drums, and practicing tae­kwondo. He values the learning opportunities at KIDSTAGE and is eager to perform with the talented cast.

AMANI VELADA, she/they (Delta Nu, Brooke Wyndham) is super excited to play in Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production of Legally Blonde The Musical! She has done many shows with KIDSTAGE before includ­ing: Les Jacobs in Disney’s Newsies, Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Tomika in School of Rock. AVERY ANDERSON, he/him (Ensemble) can’t believe he’s in his first produc­tion at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE! He has always loved the productions he’s seen previously and is ecstatic to now be on the stage too! Just out of high school, doing theater all four years surely has prepared him to take on this next challenge!

BEATRICE CRAMER, she/her (Delta Nu, Ensemble) is excited to be performing in her second show with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. She recently played Susan Waverly in White Christmas (The 5th Avenue Theatre). Bea calls Seattle’s Per­formers her second home, where she has performed in 12 productions. She benefits from exceptional vocal coaching from Danielle Rogers at Siren Studios. Her passion for musi­cal theatre drives her through life with her chin held high and a smile on her face.

BLISS PAMINTUAN, she/her (Delta Nu, Ensemble). This is Bliss's fourth production with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. Her previous included Disney's Descendants, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Miscast Cabaret. She is grateful for the love and continuous support from Mommy, Daddy, Kuya, and the rest of her family. CHAILIA WENDLAND, she/her (Elle Woods) is excited to be a part of this crazy, high energy show! CLOVER CROCCO, they/them (Delta Nu, Ensemble) is so excited to perform in their first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! They worked tech backstage and in the light booth on KIDSTAGE’s 2023 shows, Guys and Dolls and Merrily We Roll Along, and are excited to be taking the stage with this company! In the fall, they will be attending the University of British Columbia with a minor in theatre.

DOROTHY SUMMERS, she/her (Delta Nu, Store Man­ager, Ensemble) is thrilled to be on stage again in her fourth production with Vil­lage Theatre’s KIDSTAGE. ELLA NELSON, she/her (Professor Callahan) is thrilled to be back at Vil­lage Theatre’s KIDSTAGE in this year’s SummerStock production! Legally Blonde marks her third show at KIDSTAGE, following her roles as Perch Perkins and Billy Joe in The SpongeBob Musical, and Katie and Thalia in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Last summer, he was the Emcee and Ensemble in Guys and Dolls and throughout the year he was in the Village Theatre Insti­tute program. Select theater credits include: Oompa Loompa and Youth Ensemble in Willy Wonka (Edmonds Driftwood Players), George in The Drowsy Chaperone at his high school, and Michael in Elf the Musical (Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre). ISABELLE BONIFANT, she/her (Delta Nu, Greek Chorus, Ensemble). This is Isabelle’s first Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show and she is very excited to be part of this production!

ISAIAH HYDE, he/him (Warner Huntington III) is thrilled to be back at Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE this summer. Regional credits: Mr. Dickens and His Carol (Seattle Rep), A Christmas Carol (ACT Theatre, 2021 and 2023). Other select credits include: Disney’s Newsies, School of Rock, Guys and Dolls (KIDSTAGE); Little Shop of Horrors (Ballyhoo Theatre); and most recently, in the Rising Star Project Something’s Afoot (The 5th Avenue Theatre). JULIA FUNG, she/her (Vivienne Kensington, u/s Elle) is so happy to be in Legally Blonde as her second and final Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show. You may recognize her other KIDSTAGE credit as Mrs. Potts in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. This fall, Julia’s excited to be heading to LA to pursue a BFA in musical theatre. Thanks to her family and friends, and a special shoutout to her mom for being able to quote lines from the Legally Blonde movie right before they happen.

KAILYN GLAUSER, (Delta Nu, Greek Chorus, Ensem­ble) is so excited for you to see this amazing show! This is her first show at Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE but did Village Theatre Institute this past year. KOVANA WILLIAMS, she/her (Delta Nu, Ensemble). A show she has dreamt of for years, Kovana is absolutely thrilled to be joining this cast in her third Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE pro­duction. Most recently, she performed as a Silly Girl in Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Audrey in Disney's Descendants. ROWENA MCCLARY, she/her (Delta Nu, Greek Chorus, Ensemble) is pumped to be in her 10th Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE show, and her first in Everett! Previous KIDSTAGE credits: Soloist in Holiday Cabaret, Alice in The Addams Family Young@Part, and Pirate and Ensemble in The SpongeBob Musical. Her most recent role was Karen in Mean Girls the Musical: High School Edition at her high school. Thanks to her family and Izzy for being her biggest supporters.

RYLEE WORTH, (Low­ell, Dewey, Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of his first and last Summer­Stock with Village The­atre's KIDSTAGE! SAM BURSON, (Winthrop, Ensemble) is so excited to be a part of Village The­atre’s KIDSTAGE production of Legally Blonde! He was also a part of last year’s Merrily We Roll Along, and has done numerous other theater projects other­wise. SHRUTI PRASANNA, she/her (Delta Nu, Ensemble) is thrilled to be in her second Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! She was seen recently in Disney's Beauty and the Beast last winter and is excited to follow up with this production. Shruti's passion for theater radiates in every show she performs in. SPENCER NORMAN, he/him (Grandmaster Brad, Nikos, Ensemble). This is Spencer’s second Sum­merStock production with Village Theatre’s KID­STAGE. Past production and roles include Rusty Charlie in Guys and Dolls (KIDSTAGE), Damien in Mean Girls, and Caldwell B. Cladwell in Urinetown at his high school. He would also like to thank his uncle and all they’ve done for him, also his parents and siblings. Lastly, he would like to say thank you to the team and cast for helping to produce a wonder show.

Who’s Who: Creative Team

HATTIE CLAIRE ANDRES, she/her (Director) is stoked to return to Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE where she most recently directed A Pirate’s Pact for KIDSTAGE Originals. Hattie currently serves as the Associate Artistic Producer at Seattle Rep, where she’s directed Public Works productions of The Tempest and Twelfth Night. Hattie’s extensive teaching and directing credits include The 5th Avenue Theatre and Rising Star Project, Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Seattle Theatre Group/Disney Musicals in Schools, Youth The-atre Northwest, and beyond.

MACKENZIE NEUSIOK, she/her (Choreographer). Choreography: Disney’s Finding Nemo, JR. (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE); Mean Girls (Studio East); Mean Girls (Lakeside Upper School); Ride the Cyclone and Chicago (Bal-lyhoo Theatre). Acting credits: Hello, Dolly!, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Guys and Dolls (Village Theatre); Disney’s The Little Mermaid (The 5th Avenue Theatre). Mackenzie has a BA in musical theatre and American Indian studies from the University of Washing-ton. She is a member of the Coharie Tribe.

AARON M. DAVIS NORMAN, (Co-Music Director) is an educator-artist-activist originally from Compton, California. Aaron has performed across Europe, Canada, and the US and con-tinues to fight for equitable theater programs for youth and diverse representation on stages and productions teams. Aaron is currently the Institute Manager, Everett at Village Theatre’s KID STAGE and teaching private voice.

OLIVIA PEDROZA, (Co-Music Director, Conductor) is absolutely thrilled to be conducting again for Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE Sum-merStock with these wonderful artists! Her recent credits include Music Director for Guys and Dolls (KIDSTAGE), Keyboard 2 in Mamma Mia! (Village Theatre), and Touring Musician in Northwest Bookshelf (The 5th Avenue Theatre). She has a BFA in vocal performance from Western Washington University. Olivia writes for and is the lead singer of the band Skipping Victor. Much love to Mom, Dad, Taylor, Alexan-der, Peter, and the rest. Enjoy the show!

BRANDON DAVID RIEL, (Scenic Designer) is a Seattle-based theater artist whose work has been seen at Seattle Opera, Lyric Opera, ArtsWest, Taproot Theatre, React Theatre, Harlequin Productions, and many more. Riel is thrilled to rejoin Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE with this blast of a team! MFA University of Washington School of Drama. Proverbs 16:9.

ERICA MANZANO, she/her (Costume Designer) is excited to be working with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE again! She previously designed The Prom in Issaquah. Erica holds an MFA in the-ater design and technology from the University of Georgia and is currently the Associate Cos-tume Director at Seattle Rep. She has recently designed costumes for The Old Man and the Old Moon and Silent Sky (Seattle Pacific University).

AHREN BUHMANN, he/him (Lighting and Projections Designer) is a lighting and video de-signer based in Seattle. Recent shows include: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and MISS STEP (Village Theatre); Disney’s Descendants (Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE); Hometown Boy and This Bitter Earth (Seattle Public Theater); O and Nonsense and Beauty (Theatre22); Dear San Francisco with 7 Fingers, Solaris, and My Antonia (Book-It Repertory Theatre); Out of Character and Angels in America (Berkeley Repertory Theatre); Swan Lake (Honk Kong Bal­let); and Carefree (New Jersey Performing Arts Center). Ribbet.

EVAN MOSHER, he/him (Sound Designer) is a sound designer, audio engineer, musician, and actor. He has designed at Seattle Shakespeare Company, Seattle Public Theater, Strawberry Theatre Workshop, ArtsWest, Washington Ensemble Theatre, as an artist-in-residence at Whitman College, and at Cafe Nordo where he was a company member and sound designed nearly every show at their Pioneer Square venue (2015-2022). He is a member of the band “Awesome” with whom he’s made melodic noise and peculiar performance since 2004.

JEANETTE SANCHEZ, she/her (Dramaturg) is a director, dramaturg, intimacy choreogra­pher, and theater educator. She is a founder of Screaming Butterflies, president of the board of Tacoma Little Theatre, and a Tacoma Arts Commissioner. Her past work with Village Theatre includes mentoring a dramaturg for Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and providing dramaturgy for Little Shop of Horrors and Mamma Mia! She is tickled pink to be reliving 2001 in this period piece!

COLLEEN NIELSEN, she/her (Stage Manager) is excited to be back with Village Theatre’s KID­STAGE SummerStock. Previous credits include Legally Blonde (Issaquah), Ragtime, and Dis­ney’s Tarzan. With 20+ years of experience in backstage tech and stage management, some favorite shows include: The Who's Tommy, The Passage, The Secret Garden, and My Fair Lady. This one is for my own little pink fan, AN.

SHANNA YOUNG, she/her (Assistant Stage Man­ager). This is Shanna's second SummerStock with Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE after Guys and Dolls last summer. She loves theater and all things artistic. She has three adult daughters and just became a Grandma! When she isn’t at KIDSTAGE, she is the lighting designer for Edmonds Center for the Arts. Shanna is excited to see another production come to life!

NOAH SKRINDE, he/him (Assistant Stage Manager) is pleased to be part of Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Legally Blonde as a Technical Theatre Program student. This is his first production with KIDSTAGE and is happy to see so many familiar faces. With previous roles as Sound Lead at his high school, a stagehand at Edmonds Center for the Arts, and a member of Union IATSE 15, Noah brings a solid foundation in theater and a strong desire to continue learning.

AVERY WOLF, se/her (Rehearsal Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be working on her second Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE production! Some of her favorite shows she’s worked on include Guys and Dolls, Once Upon a Mattress, and Mean Girls JR.! She thanks her family and friends for their support.

About the SummerStock Program

SummerStock provides an opportunity for 40+ young people, ages 11–20, to come together to perform on the Francis J. Gaudette or Everett Performing Arts Center stage with the support of Village Theatre professionals. The musical is fully directed and designed by theater professionals and features a live orchestra, sets, costumes, props, lighting, and sound. SummerStock also provides several non-acting opportunities for students through the Technical Theatre Program (TTP), including opportunities in Orchestra Performance, Direction and Choreography, Costumes, Props, Lights, Backstage Crew, and Management.

About the Technical Theatre Program

Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE Technical Theatre Program (TTP) provides hands-on experimental learning mentored by professionals in a wide variety of theater disciplines. TTP opportunities allow students to learn theater industry vocational skills such as direction, design, technical theater, and management.
